About ALAA
The Assisted Living Association of Alabama is a non-profit corporation dedicated to advocacy for seniors in our state. The Organization represents 85% of all licensed facilities, more than fifty commercial, educational, and professional Associate Members, and Individuals with a community interest in senior issues. ALAA is the state affiliate of the Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA). Working together with ALFA, ALAA provides its members with national advocacy, education benefits, and discounts.
A seventeen member Board of Directors representing all types of Assisted Living providers governs ALAA. Constituency Directors in Group, Congregate, In-state Corporate, and National Corporate business sectors ensure that the smallest providers have an equal voice with large multi-campus operations.
