Instructors:
Kelley Mitchell, RNC, MSN is the ALAA Executive Director and has the full-time responsibility of training and supporting administrators.
Experience and education:
*State surveyor of ALFs and SCALFs & surveyor trainer for ADPH
*State regulatory unit supervisor for ALFs and SCALFs
*Author of the current State Board of Health Rules for Assisted Living Facilities (420-5-4) and Specialty Care Assisted Living
Facilities (420-5-20)
*Expertise in interpretation and implementation of the State regulations
*Provides actual survey findings; best practices found in facilities; not so great practices found in facilities as learning aids
*Master of Science in Nursing with an Educational tract
ALAA: Strong partnership with the ADPH Years of experience advocating for the assisted living industry CEU provider for assisted living administrators, RNs, and LPNs Networking database that includes administrators, facilities, owners, operators, vendors, suppliers, professional services including CPAs and accountants, attorneys, human resource specialists, etc.
